Madhava Panchakam is a group of 5 verses composed by Oothukadu Venkata Kavi in the praise of Lord Krishna, describing the incomparable beauty of Krishna.

Oothukadu Venkata Subbaiyyer also known as Oothukadu Venkata Kavi was one of the pioneering composers in Indian Classical Music.

Venkata Kavi's compositions reveal that he was a complete master of the science and art of music in all senses of the term – melody, rhythm, and lyrics.

On the occasion of Sri Krishna Ashtami, here we present this beautiful rendition, accompanied by Poornima Krishna Emani on Flute, Koundinya Pannala on Violin, Rhythm Pavan on Percussion and Challa Padmaja on Veena.
