Hello creatives!
today I'm making a "messy" background in my A5 art journal from Hahnemühle. I love this type of art play. I get to explore various techniques and just let go and have fun. Go ahead and give it a try!

*Supplies used for background technique:
A5 art journal, atleast 200 gsm paper
8B graphite pencil
Greaseproof paper (i.e. sandwich paper)
Medium size flat brushes
Acrylic paints - Prussian Blue, Light Blue, Lavender, Light Pink, Turquoise
Small rubber brayer
Old wine cork
Tissue collage papers
Matte gel medium (for gluing/sealing collage papers)
*all supplies bought and paid for by me.

Supplies I always have on hand in my studio:
Kitchen towels
Baby wipes
Container with water for cleaning tools, brushes etc.
Palette paper to mix paints

Note, the last clip shows how I finished my spread. Of course, you can finish it anyway you like, such as stencilling, stamping...or paint over with flowers, faces etc.
