Hello everyone! This was a sad week for the Black Ice team, we had to say goodbye to the Dentley. We pulled the engine out and sold the body to a client that was interested. We plan on putting the engine in to a separate project car so that the truck's name will live on!

The Dentley was our main project of the third season of Budget Builds. The Dentley was a 1989 GMC Sierra that was purchased in 2018. When we first got the truck it was all disassembled; we put it together piece by piece after hours and hours of work. We did many upgrades on it and continued to work on it, even in 2020. However, after careful consideration the team decided that the engine would be a better fit in another project.

Overall, it was a very good experience and helped boost our production for a few seasons. Big thanks goes out to everyone that helped us with the Dentley and the companies that were with us along the way!
