A shooting on a CTA bus overnight left a passenger dead and the driver wounded in Bronzeville on the city's South Side. According to Chicago police, the shooting occurred in the 3400 block of South State Street, just a block away from CPD headquarters, around 12:15 a.m. Monday. Police say the CTA driver reported a disturbance in which two unknown males were in a physical altercation toward the back of the bus, when one of the offenders pulled out a gun and fired shots at the other man.
