We can all have a Spiritual Awakening into Union with God and know How to know God. The Mystery of the Garden of Eden is the most simple yet profound truth that brings a Spiritual Awakening to experience Union With God. That is the basis of Christian Mysticism. Mysticism is to be immersed in the Mystery to the point that the revelation of the mystery brings a spiritual awakening and enlightenment to human heart and mind and they spiritually experience their origin which is the Creator, Lord of Heaven and Earth, the Loving Father who came down on earth in human flesh. He came as the Light to the world. Jesus is that incarnated God. He is the Enlightenment of every human being that comes to this world. The true spirituality was manifested by Him when He lived a Life of Union with God and showed what the Garden of Eden was all about. He fulfilled what the Man (Adam and Eve) failed. Here is the truth:
Adam and Eve are the Spirit and Soul of One Man. Every human being is both male and female. The Soul was to be submitted to the Spirit but listened to the serpent's voice. In doing so, the Union with the Spirit was broken and a false union with the Flesh was established. The Fruit of this union became Death while the Fruit of the true Union with the Spirit would have been Life.
Now the Church is known as the Woman, the Female part of 'the Christ'. Christ is the Males part of 'the Christ'. Woman and Man together are Body and Head joined together, forming One Man, which is the fulfillment of the Union with God, through Union with Christ. This is Christian Mysticism in the Mystery of Christ.
Now, the Woman, the Soul (Church) can experience two states:
Virgin: Bride of the Lamb, the Holy Jerusalem
Harlot: Mystery Babylon
The book of Revelation of Jesus Christ is the removing of the Babylon condition off the Woman, into Holy Jerusalem. That is the fulfillment of Genesis 3, all the curses that would result in the blessing. The Woman (Eve) was told, that her Seed shall be in enmity with the Serpent's Seed, and shall crush her head. She, the Church, would in pain, bring forth that Seed. Revelation 12 is the story of that Soul giving birth to a Male Child (Son), who fulfills what God had prophesied.
The Soul that wants to be the Queen is Jezebel of the Old Testament (Church at Thyatira). The Lord, by searching the Heart and the Mind, removes that state so they could rise up in their true identity, Sons of God and fulfill Psalm 2.

The Soul is placed between the Spirit and the Flesh. The Voice of the Spirit and the Voice of the Flesh are the story of Eve in the Garden. Faith results in intimacy with the Spirit. Temptation results in intimacy with the Flesh. In the first, the fruit of the Spirit will manifest. In the second the works of the Flesh will show up. Prayer is where Soul stands in the full armor of God to fight and stand.
