Our adventure through the Kalahari was brimming with the anticipation of the journey, and seeing this legendary convoy of Toyota Land Cruisers, making their way through the tall grass and red sand of the Kalahari was short of dreamy! Well now the dream continues! The convoy heads through to Maun for a refuel and restock, making their way to the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park! Crossing the Botetti River into the park reveals that the rainy weather has not been as impactful here as in the last episode. But there was certainly a fantastic reveal of wild life! Elephants, giraffe, Kudu, hippos and even some Lions! The campsites for this trip include Khumaga inside the park and then Camelthorn Guest Farm across the river! The 40 series and 60 series land cruisers were due for a repack, and the 100 series cruiser had a slight mechanical slip up! Hopefully it won’t hold up the trip! The okavango delta is calling and this trip has just gotten us even more excited for what’s to come!
