This is a video of how newer to lvl 50 PvP players can still help win matches in huttball for their team. This match was very close until the last 5 minutes or so. Akatash scores 3 times.

Too many times we see people queuing up just to run "deathmatch" style play to get their medals. With the new awards to hit on release 1.2 we're pretty certain passing and scoring in huttball will hold much more value than it does now, but either way here is how you can still be a viable asset to the game now without griefing the other players on your team when you still have lower level PvP or PvE gear.

The strategy of huttball is really pretty simple, but too many people want to rely on others to carry them in huttball either because they don't understand the basic strategy, or think they aren't strong enough to carry the ball. Some people actually think doing 250K+ damage is doing something even when their team loses the match because they weren't focused on the real objective.

Bottom line, a player needs to stay on the ball-carrier assisting the kill when the other team has the ball, and get in front of the ball-carrier when their team has the ball so they can be ready for a pass to move closer to a score.
