Hiking Ryten and Kvalvika Beach

When hiking Ryten and Kvalvika Beach, we recommend you park at Innersand Parking with Leif. The parking gives you the shortest path to Ryten and the most interesting hike to Kvalvika Beach.

In recent years there has been a lot of controversy over where to park for Ryten and Kvalvika Beach.

Until this year, Torsfjorden has been the preferred parking for many wanting to visit Kvalvika Beach. However, it looks like the municipality is tired of cars blocking the road all around this rather small parking that cannot handle the number of cars we see in the high season.

Therefore, we recommend you park with Leif also for hiking Kvalvika Beach. Even though this hike is slightly longer, it’s also more interesting with a great view down towards the beach.
