If you’re a figma user, you really should start testing out Figma Make because I just took an app from idea to launched product in a few hours with Make and supabase

I started with a voice note where I scoped out the idea. I took the transcript of that note into ChatGPT and had it make a prompt that I pasted into Figma Make.

That’s when the real ux design began:
I started by cleaning up the ui design into a unique brutalist aesthetic.

Then I simplified the core user experience of journaling with your voice and then add some colors and progress that made it feel fun to finish.

Then, I added extra data entry to the UI/UX which would power the insights tab. Though, insights needed some time to cook so I made an empty state for a few days of entries.

Then all I had to do was click a few times to create a database and api with supabase and now I have a fully functioning app!

Now is where the real refining begins because I need to watch users use the app and do further UX research as well as add more micro interactions and branded elements.

Still, for a few hours of work it was insane how good the app already.
