Hope not Hate' s Joe Mulhall spoke to Matt Frei on LBC about the views of Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed during an event at The University of Utah.

'He regularly crossed the line into hate speech', said Mulhall, who warned against the attempt from some commentators to cast Kirk as 'slightly conservative'.

One of Kirk's stated opinions was that civil rights, which ended racial segregation in America, were a 'huge mistake'.

He also claimed 'the left' was 'using Islam to slit the throat of America'. Mulhall says Kirk 'fits the definition of far-right comfortablly'.
