DNA is supposedly millions of years old, but can it really survive that long? The evidence suggests otherwise. From genetic entropy showing species can’t survive endless mutations, to ancient DNA breaking down too quickly in the ground, to mitochondrial Eve and Y-chromosome Adam pointing to recent common ancestors — multiple lines of evidence challenge evolutionary timescales.
