Not many people know but Maggi was used as a raw material for cement!

In the year 2015 when Nestle Maggi was banned due to excessive lead content which forced them to recall Maggi worth ₹320 crores! It was not an easy job and it took almost 10,000 vehicles to do that.

Maggi already knew it will cost them lots of money to destroy so many packets of Maggi so they tied up with cement companies and over 27,000 units of Maggi were supplied to them where it was crushed and mixed to use as a fuel to produce raw material for cement.
