This is an easy, basic vanilla cake recipe, where I have used a very simple icing with just minimal ingredients. I doubled the ingredients, prepared 2 cakes and got 1 large cake, it was quite cheap too when made at home. I have shared this recipe with step by step photos as below

Ingredients

1.5 Cups Maida / All Purpose Flour / மைதா
1 tsp Baking Powder / Soda / பேக்கிங் பவுடர்
1/4 tsp Salt / உப்பு
3/4 Cup Sugar / சக்கரை (150 gram)
90 ML Oil / எண்ணெய்
1/2 Cup Water / தண்ணீர்
1 tbsp Vanilla Essence / வெண்ணிலா எசென்ஸ்
3 tbsp Curd / தயிர்
1 tbsp Vinegar
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
