Lawyer Michael Buckner reviews cohabitation agreements (also known as roommate agreements; domestic partnership agreements; and companionship agreements), which are contracts between people living together in the same house, apartment or residential unit. Cohabitating persons could be mere roommates or persons involved in a romantic relationship, but not married. Michael reviews some legal provisions that can be included in a cohabitation agreement.
