🌟 DESCRIPTION🌟

So for the FMV cutscenes, I ripped straight from the ISO and then interpolated with Flowframes and then upscalled to 4K using Topaz Video Enhance AI. It still has those clear scan lines that a lot of PS2 era cutscenes have, but I think the results are quite good. Anyway, that's why the cutscenes don't have subtitles, but for the rest of the in-game stuff, the subtitles are on.

It was fun replaying this with the texture pack, it looks so much better. The entire gameplay section is done with the 4K texture pack. There are two scenes where some black lines pop up randomly, but outside of that it worked flawlessly for me. The controls are still as horrendous as I remember them, but the game is still fun nonetheless!

The game begins during the climax of Final Fantasy VII. As Vincent and Yuffie Kisaragi help to evacuate Midgar, which is about to be destroyed by Sephiroth's Meteor spell, Vincent finds the body of Professor Hojo slumped at the controls of the Sister Ray cannon. After a flash of lightning, Hojo's body seemingly disappears, and before Vincent can investigate, the cannon explodes, forcing Vincent to escape with Yuffie.

Three years later, Vincent is in the town of Kalm when it is attacked by a group of mysterious soldiers. Vincent, with help from his former comrade, Reeve Tuesti of the World Regenesis Organization (WRO), an organization dedicated to helping the planet recover from the events of Final Fantasy VII,[6] fights the soldiers and forces them to retreat, but many citizens are captured or killed.
