Young adults in Singapore between the ages of 20 and 39 were the main victims of about 4,700 job scams in the last three years. Those aged 60 and above made up 2%. Minister of State for Home Affairs Desmond Tan said the data was not surprising, given that younger people are more likely to search for jobs and are open to remote work. He added that the anti-scam public education campaign has extended its coverage to job scams.
