Fun with ggplot2's themes! (CC005)

Pat showed how you can use different theme functions from the ggplot2 and ggthemes packages to change the appearance of your ggplot2-generated plots in R. Along with this, he described how you can give these theme functions arguments to alter the appearance of the figures. He then showed how you can manipulate individual elements of each theme to generate the styling that you want for your plot with the theme function. He demonstrates these concepts by live coding in R with RStudio. He then turns viewers loose to work through three activities that involve modifying the default theme to look like another theme using the theme function.
