Paul Z. Jackson
As one of the founders of The Solutions Focus, I am a consultant, coach and designer and facilitator of bespoke training programmes.
After graduating from Oxford University, I began my career as a Radio 4 journalist and also a member of the improvisational comedy troupe, More Fool Us. Discovering improvisation proved to be a life-changing event for me and has informed much of my work with The Solutions Focus since then. My seminars, conferences, speeches and training sessions always feature plenty of (intentional!) laughs, as well as plenty of inspiring content.
I am also a published author and contributor to scholarly journals. My books include Impro Learning, 58½ Ways to Improvise in Training, and The Inspirational Trainer. My most recent book, The Solutions Focus: Making Coaching and Change Simple, has been rated on of the top 30 business books of the year in the USA.
Janine Waldman
I am an executive coach, consultant and facilitator. As the other founder of The Solutions Focus, I have successfully taught our approach to numerous leaders, managers and professional coaches in several countries. My past clients include Tesco, Abbey, United Technologies Corporation, Merton Borough Council, Greater Manchester Police and London Metropolitan Police.
Since earning a Masters Degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management from LSE, I have led organisational development programmes in both the public and private sectors. As well as being a certified business coach, I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personal Development and have held senior management positions in organisations including Fisher & Paykel Healthcare (New Zealand) and Reliance Security Services.
I am also a visiting lecturer on post-graduate programmes at Westminster and Birbeck universities and regularly share my experience and insights at international conferences.
