Over the years Freddie Gibbs has become known for a lot of things. His beef with rappers. His insane sense of humor. And, of course...his rapping ability. After putting his stamp on the game with some highly successful projects with Madlib, his name has shot to the top of the list of the best indie rappers in the game. Gibbs's fifth solo album sees him moving away from producers like Madlib and Alchemist. Was this a risky move? Was he able to keep that sound and energy that his fans have grown to love him for?
