Priesthood vs. Parenthood

Two separate worlds in the Ascension universe collide in this special episode on priesthood vs. parenthood. Or maybe they’re not that separate and different after all. Jackie and Bobby talk with Fr. Mark-Mary of the CFRs, and discuss how “Every vocation requires sacrifice.” Parenthood and the priesthood both require constant selfless giving. They both require that we set ourselves aside so we can do God’s work. So next time you watch an Avengers movie, when you see all those superheroes come together for a common cause to save the universe, think of priests and parents because they also have a common cause: to make God’s love known in the world.
