A special investigation team has found that gold plating covering the Prabhamandalam was stolen. The theft also involved gold-coated copper plates engraved with the Dashavatara figures installed on the sanctum doorway, plates bearing zodiac symbols, and the gold covering on the upper threshold of the doorway.
