This will have to be the most fun worth a couple of hours building. It's a supereasy build, with nothing but foam and duct tape. It works on water, snow, ice, asphalt, dirt, grass, sand and the only thing you will have to bring for repairs, is more duct tape!

I use a quite powerful brushless motor, but I definetly don't feel the need for more power. It's also very strong and as you can see in the video, take crashes really well. This will have to be one of the most inexpensive DIY builds (worth of materials). All you need is a couple of dollars worth of material and the electronics.

In my latest video I was using a gyro, but this time I ended up going super simple, with just a battery, esc, motor, receiver and a servo. With the brushless motor the airboat reaches quite high speeds and you have the control all the time!

It does take some time to get used with the controls, since you can't go full throttle all the time due to flipping risk. You may use more batteries to make the airboat heavier and less vulnerable to take off.
