Flower farmer and florist Georgie Newbery of Common Farm Flowers gives you top tips if you're considering holding workshops in your space - and at the same time you get to see some behind the scenes footage of our recent three day eco flowers retreat.

If you have skills to share then workshops are a great way to earn a little extra income, especially for people running lifestyle businesses from home. If you're running a lifestyle business the chances are you are a) very good at whatever it is you create, and b) have a great deal to share with others on the subject.

Do remember, though, that if you are going to hold workshops you must look at health and safety, have a protocol which you share with your students so that they know that you've done a risk assessment and can make sure they come to no harm, and that you aren insured with public liability insurance.
