Belgium & Netherlands Signing for 12 MCM Vessels & Equipment by Naval Group & ECA Group

Dutch State Secretary Barbara Visser, Belgian defense minister Didier Reynders and French companies Naval Group and ECA Robotics signed the contract for 12 next generation MCM vessels and their equipments in Brussels, on July 5, 2019.

Naval Group is in charge of the design and construction of the 12 vessels (6 for the Belgian Navy and 6 for the Royal Netherlands Navy) while ECA Group is in charge of the design, construction and integration of their associated mine warfare toolboxes.
