The Stone Roses interview (Rockin In The UK) November 1988

This interview was conducted with Ian Brown and John Squire from the band after the recording of the 'Elephant Stone' video in London in November 1988 for 'Rockin In The UK'.

This is the full, unedited version of the interview from start to finish, which I don't think has ever been published on YouTube before.

An edited version of the interview, which accompanied the video for Elephant Stone, was broadcast on Rockin In The UK on British TV on 6 December 1988 and is available on YouTube (with Japanese subtitles).

Apologies for the poor quality of the video. It was recorded on VHS tape for me by the interviewer, Rachel Davies, back in the 1980s and obviously suffered during the transfer from tape to tape.
