Alberta Premium Cask Strength Rye is a rye whisky, made with 100% Canadian rye and Rocky Mountain spring water by Alberta Distillers Limited in Calgary, Alberta. This is a non-age-stated whiskey but is said to be at least five years old. This line of Alberta Premium Cask Strength Rye is bottled between 63%-67% ABV and has an MSRP of $80. We picked up our bottle for $75.

Aroma: Sweet, woody, and oaky with a hint of vanilla.

Taste: Exceptionally smooth with notes of caramel, vanilla, and a hint of chocolate balanced with the spiciness of rye and black currant.

Finish: Smooth and lingering with the complexity of spice, warm vanilla, and dark fruit that keeps you coming back for more.
