World's HEAVIEST Mouse MOD (Solid STEEL)

I built the world's first Solid Steel Minecraft Mouse (aka Thor's Mouse)! I also tried drag clicking and bridging in Hypixel Bedwars with my friends ‪@Flowaze‬ & ‪@minutetechmc‬ using the mouse!

Unlike my other dragclicking mods/ mouse mods, I decided build my on mouse entirely from scratch. For this mod, I will be using the internals of the 80 CPS drag clicking office mouse! Notable mods I did previous were both on the Logitech G502 (Bloody A502) and the Razer DeathAdder, where I made them both drag click. I also modded a keyboard to drag click and beat trycs' original keyboard cps record!

The Minecraft hypixel bedwars gameplay was ABSURD! The mouse weighs so much that it makes the bloody a70 / bloody abedless feel like a feather. Due to inertia, its extremely hard to adjust your aim while bridging or when you are pvping. Because of that, I often feel off while bridging and lost a lot of my PVP bouts. Flowaze trolled minute tech an blocked him off so he fell into the void. Coincidentally I messed up my bridge and fell off at the same time as him in bedwars. Unsurprisingly we were never able to win a game but we defended our bed well and wiped some teams. I was able to speedbridge just fine with the mouse because its a 0 cps bridging method. Its really difficult to register cps on the mouse due to the insane pretravel in the jumbo omron switches. I ofc was able to win a bunch of PVP fights and clutch our bed. I was able to actually bob bridge with the mouse! Me and minutetech did sumo duels and he completely destoryed me. However, in our final bedwars game, I clutched a final kill which was an insane moment! The mouse is horrible for any games, even Minecraft, simply due to the sheer mass and weight of the mouse. My forearms get so tired just moving it around so I have to play on very high sensitivity. Hopefully I get YT rank on hypixel someday :)

Initially I designed the entire Metal mouse on paper. After I got my sketches done I made a cardboard model of the mouse. Using the cardboard model of the mouse I was able to get an idea of the size and shape that I needed, including the steel that was required. In my attic, I have a lot of scrap metal. I grabbed a sheet of thick steel and a sheet of thin sheet metal. Using a plasma cutter, I was able to trace and cut out the base of my Solid steel (Thor Mouse) mouse from the very thick piece of steel. After that, I used an automatic sheet metal cutter and created the support system for the gaming mouse and the basic structure. Using a hammer I had was able to hammer form the steel into a curved shape that filled up the sides of the mouse. Throughout the video I welded like crazy and most of the mouse composed of welds. I made the switches out of sheet medal as well and welded a pivoting hinge on each side of the mouse, which I then could attach my switches/buttons (lmb & rmb)!
Once those were done, created switch mounts for my jumbo omron switches that were made from iron bed frame and steel wire. These switch mounts were welded beneath the mouse buttons. Finally I filled in the gap below the buttons with some more steel and cut a hole in the center of the base plate to make room for the optical mouse censor and circuit board. To make the mouse look as cool as possible I decided to paint the bulk of the mouse a silver/aluminum color and the switches bronze/copper!
