Anne: Some of my clients are concerned that they do not want their in-laws—their daughter-in-law or son-in-law—to inherit money from them. That's why in Wills and Trusts you generally leave your money to your child per stirpes. Meaning that if they predecease you, or die before you do, then their children will get their share of your inheritance.
