In this video we visit the two tram stops along Williams Street in the Melbourne CBD that were recently rebuilt. The stops at Flagstaff Station and Bourke Street have been upgraded to platforms to provide improved amenity and accessibility for tram commuters. Here we see various Comeng/ABB B2 Class trams and Siemens D1 (Combino) class trams

Each of the new tram stops has been built to cater for the new E Class trams (which will be introduced on route 58 in the near future) and features seating, shelters, bins and passenger information displays and audio buttons.

The new platform stops mean that for the first time passengers requiring wheelchairs in the CBD can use Williams Street for the first time. This now leaves Latrobe Street as the only tram corridor in the CBD without any accessible tram stops.
