Inspiration Exchange - Concept Bottleneck Models

Recording of the van der Schaar Lab's 39th Inspiration Exchange session, which took place on 10 October 2024, and was attended by students and professionals from the AI and machine learning community.

In this session, we explore Concept Bottleneck Models, an innovative approach in machine learning that enhances model interpretability and performance by leveraging human-interpretable concepts. Van der Schaar Lab PhD Student Max Ruiz Luyten frames the topic by talking about our upcoming NeurIPS 2024 paper on the topic.

We are excited to be joined by Dr Hamid Palangi (Google) and Prof Eoin McKinney (University of Cambridge/CCAIM), who share their perspectives on Concept Bottleneck Models.
