If you’re looking for a comprehensive training program for your dog, our MAJIC Fundamentals classes build a foundation of basic skills that help you to establish boundaries and lay the groundwork to transform your dog into a calm, confident pack member. Structured as a six-week course that meets once per week, our classes are the perfect option for those looking for a more extensive training program.

Our class ratios are kept small to maximize the benefit to you. Our trainers are able to provide individualized attention, demonstrate hands-on techniques, and assist with real-world scenarios. As your dog masters skills, we will continue to push you to the next level. We treat you and your dog as individuals and tailor our training to you within the group setting.

Adult classes, for dogs 6 months and up, will begin with the ‘basics’ and build upon those skills to strengthen your relationship with your dog. Whether this is your dog’s first training experience or you eat, sleep, and breathe training, we encourage a growth mindset and adapt the program to meet the needs of you and your dog. Dogs and their owners will learn:

An introduction to dog psychology and how clear communication leads to an improved relationship within your daily life

Basics of leash work, place work, & crate training, and how to guide your dog through these foundational strategies using pressure and release

Problem solving strategies for common issues such as jumping on guests, leash reactivity, & resource guarding

How to address overexcitement and anxiety

How to introduce & respect thresholds and boundaries

Puppy classes, designed for puppies ages 3-6 months, are specific to learning fundamentals such as:

Basic commands such as sit, down, come, leave it

Dog psychology

Crate training

Place training

An introduction to leash work

Potty training strategies

Introduction to recall

Create a strong foundation of essential skills while building a healthy relationship with your newest family member.

Puppies and adults must be fully vaccinated (with distemper/parvo, rabies, Bordetella) to participate.
