I had a rain leak in my 2003 GTI. After a storm, I would find the passenger floorboard to be soaked even to the back seat. I struggle to find the problem, I cleaned rain tray, checked cabin air filter seal, and tried to run a line through sun roof drains. It took me awhile to figure out that my sun roof drain hoses were not connected to their exit gromet. Once I identified the problem I found it challenging to reconnect the two, as there is minimal work space and poor angles. I found that I could use my weed wacker wire to line thing up and connect the two. Thinking others may have a similar problem, I made this video.
