Flashback is a concept coaster that combines an Arrow Launched Loop with a Vekoma Boomerang. The general idea behind this coaster is that a park purchased an old Arrow Launched Loop, but did not have a long enough plot of land to fit the entire ride. They then hired Vekoma to modify the ride to fit a shorter, but wider plot of land by replacing the original vertical loop found on Arrow Launched Loops with a cobra roll that's profiled much like what's found on Vekoma Boomerangs. In order to fit the larger inversion, the ride was made slightly taller, faster, longer, and features a 7 car train instead of the more common 6 car train found on Arrow Launched Loops.
