Everything has changed | Trouble on the road in Africa

This week is nothing like we expected. We enjoy a few days of safari in Etosha National Park in Namibia, before our travel plans are changed and disrupted by Omicron and the travel restrictions sweeping the world. We've managed to travel throughout 2020 and 2021, but this time there seems no way around it, we have to act, and we have to act fast.

We are the Newbys, John, Tara, and our two little boys Crusoe and Sawyer. We’re a family who are pursuing an alternative lifestyle, and after two years of full time travel we’ve taken root on an abandoned farm in Northern Portugal which we’re renovating into our dream off-grid homestead. We release new videos every Sunday sharing our story, and we’d love for you to be a part of it with us.
