INFORMATION OF "I AM LOVE" : Longish song recorded by the Jackson 5 for their album Dancing Machine, issued in September 1974 in the US and November 1974 in the UK.

The lead vocals are by Jermaine (later by Marlon, after four of the Jackson 5 left Motown). It is split into two halves for single release, with Parts 1 & 2 appearing on either side of the 7" single.

It charted at no.3 on the R&B singles chart and no.15 on the Hot 100 in the US, but wasn't a hit in the UK.

"I AM LOVE" PERFORMANCE INFRO : It was performed by the Jackson 5 on The Cher Show in 1975, and by the Jacksons on their TV series in 1977.

A live performance by the Jacksons, at a concert in Mexico in 1976, was included on the home video, The Jacksons In Concert, released in 1981 in the UK (no USA release).
