Just in case you (still) don’t know whats going on, a quick recap: The National Association of Realtors lawsuit centers around allegations of antitrust violations. It claims that NAR and large brokerages have been inflating commissions by requiring sellers to offer a commission to the buyer’s agent, even though the buyer’s agent is working for the buyer. This has led to concerns that sellers are paying unnecessarily high fees.

Now, my five cents: I think all agents specially from the buyer agent side must increase their skill set in order to thrive in the current panorama. Marketing, sales, speech, negotiation, everything. That way the buyer will understand you value and will be easier for them to agree to your desired fee. If not, then you’ll continue to work the same or more for less money.
