I'm always in awe of God's beautiful creation whenever I step outside into nature. It's so easy to get caught up in everything going wrong in our lives, focusing on what we lack and who seems to be winning, that we miss the beauty surrounding us. Today, while taking a walk with Leilani, I paused to take in the Lord's marvelous creation and I began to reflect on the scripture verse found in Matthew 6:26-27 which says "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" Such a powerful verse and a beautiful promise made to us that no matter what is going on in our lives at the moment, our heavenly Father WILL provide our every need in his perfect timing. In the meantime, enjoy the beauty that is around you.
