Today we continue our adventure through the interior of Normandy 🇫🇷, entering the incredible landscapes of Norman Switzerland 🏞️.

After visiting Thury-Harcourt-le-Hom, we discover Clécy 🏘️, a charming village of about 1,200 inhabitants considered the capital of this region. We stroll through its streets, admire the Church of Saint-Pierre ⛪ and the quiet Tripot Square.

From Clécy, we begin a simple route to the Orne River 🌊, gradually climbing up to an impressive viewpoint on a rocky promontory 🧗‍♂️ with more than 120 climbing routes and spectacular views.

We continue to the Roche d’Oëtre ⛰️, a magical place overlooking the Rouvre River with several hiking trails 🚶‍, such as the Cornices Trail, the Meander Trail or the Gorges Trail 🌿.

Further south we reach La Carneille 🏡, a small village on the banks of the Gine River with 17th and 18th-century architecture. In the Market Square 🍞🎨, besides local products, we find the Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, a witness to the village's past splendor.

We walk through its art-filled streets 🎨, cross the Four Doors Square and stroll along the river, passing the old washhouse 💧 and the historic Street of the Jews ✡️.

We finish in the Church Garden 🌳, but our journey through Normandy does not end here… soon we will discover new charming villages in the south of the region! 🚗✨
