Synopsis: Antebellum - Veronica Henley, a successful and prominent author, is abducted and placed into a horrifying reality where she and other African Americans are forced to work and live as slaves on a Southern plantation on the eve of the Civil War. Aware of her situation, Henley must both plan an escape to free her fellow slaves while also trying to find a way back to her own time.
