Here I show you how to clean the AC components and unblock the drain hose to make sure water drains properly.

How much water leakage is normal?

If you notice a small amount of water, a few drops to be precise, falling from your AC, you need not worry. This happens especially if you live in a very hot and humid place. Condensation happens at a faster pace and residual water drips off occasionally. The quantity of water being small enough gets dried up by the heat around.

Why is my AC not cooling the room?

Dirty air filters and condenser coils negatively impact the ability of an AC to cool a room. The dirt and debris that accumulates on the filter and coils trap heat and restrict air flow. This trapped heat causes the unit to overheat and underperform.

hello guys in this video we'll fix two
problems with this ac
number one less cooling for this we'll
clean the blower and the filters
number two water dripping inside the
room for this
will clean the blockages inside the
water drain hose
to begin with we will remove the lure
front panel
front case and the wiring cover one by
one
oh he's got your head up in the clouds
now dismantle the water collection tray
by removing the screws and the latches
the water tray may contain dirt and
moulds deposit which might
affect the performance of the ac and
i cooling opened everything up it's like
five to six screws and uh
then most of the time it is some sort of
clips
we just need to you know unlock the
clips so it'll all come off like that
and this is the tray that collects the
water
you know from the cooling element
cooling coils uh
water drips into the tray it'll be like
this
and it's very important that the the
tray is evenly balanced
so that the water flows to that outlet
over here
there's an outlet you can see that right
that outlet over there this is the water
drain
and uh when we have an ac leakage
problem most of the times the issue is
that
the the drain is blocked
either it's blocked or some other reason
right so most of the times
it is blocked so what we gonna do is
we will blow air into that drain
the filter and this part here it will
be a lot of dust accumulation if that
happens uh then also there is a chance
for
uh over cooling and water uh
dripping you see this
lot of dust accumulation you see that
this could very very well be a reason
why we have excess water we've got to
clean all these things
actually the water what is recommended
is the water cleaning
like high pressure washer when high
pressure water sprayer they get right i
see technicians
i don't have it all i have is like this
thing
down there that's a blower air blower
so we're just going to use that to clear
off the the duct outlet
that's what i'm going to do right now
let's see
this that's the commission when the ac
is on it
turns it starts it spins at high speed
testing time so i create the block
i'm gonna pour water into it manually
and see if it's getting out or not
if it's getting out problem solved
otherwise still we need to clear
it's a lot of water
so it's empty the drain is empty that
means the water is draining properly
so it's got into the duct and then it
will be drained out
blowing air into the drain that actually
cleared the
pathway water drain out and it is
working fine now it won't leak inside
anymore
so now let's fix it back

so guys here both the problems are
clearly fixed
the throw is really great it cools so
well
and there is no more water leakage
inside the room because the drain is
fixed
