Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-17 Fresco - A Short History

The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-17 Fresco was a single-seat jet fighter produced by the Soviet Union. It was a subsonic aircraft, developed mainly for interceptor duties. The MiG-17 served in the Vietnam War, and was license-built in China as the Shenyang J-5 and Poland as the PZL-Mielec Lim-6.
