T'puram: Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan's scheduled attendance at the Calicut University function tomorrow in which Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, the sovereign ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, will be awarded a D.Litt. by Calicut University tomorrow has become a topic of discussion. The CM attending the function will violate university rules and statutes, it is pointed out. A former syndicate member will file a complaint with the governor in this regard.
