How to bleach dip aquarium plants. We followed the instructions from H2oplants. We used a regular bleach at a ration of 19 cups water to 1 cup bleach. We left them in the solution for 2 mins and then moved the plants into a bucket of room temperature water treated with Prime water conditioner. We did the rinsing process several times. We'd always been apprehensive of bleach dipping plants but after doing the process it was quick and easy and the plants are all doing well in our aquarium. It's not recommend to bleach dip floating plants or Vals such as Jungle Val. It's good practice to Bleach dip aquarium plants before adding them to the aquarium to be sure there are no unwanted pest or bacteria.
