Here we have some footage of XV45TD, a 2020 Volvo FE 280 with Sport SL240 Bucher Body,
which Citywide/Cleanaway have been renting from Bucher recently.

This truck was originally a demo for the new 24m design body, and went on a road trip all around Australia, to pretty much every state and was seen in councils such as Moonee Valley, Newcastle, Brisbane, & The Hills Shire just to name a few, it was filmed in a few of these places and links to the videos are below.


Upon arrival at Citywide in late 2024 It quickly found work in Port Phillip, mostly collecting recycle, but then made its way to Moreland where it was used as a spare for about a month, and then scored a full-time recycle run until it was sent back to Bucher for repairs at the end of last year. Here we see Daniel at the helm handling his garbage run. Was quite surprised when I first saw this, definitely wasn’t expecting it, but made sure to grab a decent video.


I have some more footage of this truck collecting garbage, and did also get videos of it on recycle & fogo, although I do prefer it on garbage as the red signage pairs nicely with the red lids.
