Golden milk, or Haldi Doodh, as it is known in India, is a turmeric-based tea used in the Ayurvedic tradition. Originally made from a combination of cow’s milk, turmeric, black pepper, and oil, this drink has evolved over time and place to include other healthful spices. While many golden milk blends on the market are powdered herbal blends, Mountain Rose Herbs has created a beautiful loose-"leaf" blend of traditional spices—turmeric and black pepper—with the tasty addition of ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, coconut, and most interestingly, pink rose petals.
