PARYUSHAN JAIN RECIPE - MIX DAL DOSA & CHUTNEY

🌿✨ Surprise, surprise! Who knew that Paryushan could be this deliciously healthy & protein-rich? Say hello to Mix Dal Dosa! 😍 This non-fermented dosa is made instantly from high-protein dals, perfect for keeping up your energy levels.

“Dosas are often fermented; can this really taste good?” Absolutely! The mix of dals creates a unique flavor and texture that might just redefine your breakfast game.

Concerned about the time it takes to prepare? Fear not! This dosa comes together instantly.

“What about the chutney?” I’ve got you covered with a Jain Paryushan special chutney made from peanuts—rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor! And this chutney is not a sidekick, but it elevates this dish to a whole new level.

Method :

For Chutney -
In a a mixer jar, take 1/2 cup roasted Peanuts
Add 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera), 1/2 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, 1/2 tsp Amchur Powder & salt per taste
Add 2 Dry Red Chillies (soaked in 2 tbs water)
And some water
Grind everything and make smooth chutney

For Tadka-
Heat the pan and add 2 tsp Oil
Add 1 tsp Mustard Seeds (Rai) and 1/2 tsp Asafoetida Powder (Hing)
Pour this hot tadka on chutney

For Dosa -
In a mixer jar, take soaked 1/2 cup Urad Dal, 1/2 cup yellow Moong Dal & 1/4 cup Rice (all soaked for 1 hour in hot water)
Add 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera), 1/2 tsp Asafoetida Powder (Hing), 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
Add 2-3 Dry Red Chillies
And Salt as per taste
Grind everything by adding water to make smooth batter (you may need 1/2 - 3/4 cup water)
Mix smooth runny batter well and keep aside for 20 minutes (optional)
Now let’s start making dosa
Spread this batter on hot and greased tawa
Apply some Oil or Ghee and sprinkle some sesame seeds (optional)
Let dosa cook till you get golden color - no need to flip
