What I used in the video:

Armor:
-Legendary Fungus Mage Hood
-Legendary Fungus Mage Cloak
-Legendary Fungus Mage Pants
-Warped Wind Ring
-Warped Fireball Rune (I just wanted a warped rune)

Infusions:
-2x Fungus Mage
-1x Rotwood Mage

Weapon:
-Spectral Handle
-Cursed Greatsword Blade
-Spin Weapon Art

Race: High Elf
Guild: Scholar
Shrine of balance Activated

After I made my "The Rotten Wood" showcase, I found out that DOTs scale off of the potency of the perk that procced it. In this case, my 5x Fungus Mage is proccing the poison and that does more than my 1x Spectral Rot proccing the poison. So that's what the focus of this build was, having Fungus Mage proc poison.

If you use this set up, you can even use Cursed guild. But if you want to have rage affect the poison, you would need Scholar guild for Channeled Weapon to do magic damage during Spin, to proc Fungus Mage. I got the DOT to do around 40 damage with Spectral handle, Scourge Blade and a rage potion.

If you wanted more total damage per cast, you could go full warped Fungus Mage and used the Cursed handle for more Endless Despair. The total DOT from it was around 1k but that was over a longer period of time and I can easily refresh my DOT with this set up. I think it was around 60 hex DOT with that set up, but that was with Cursed guild and the Cursed guild set up benefits more with Legendary instead. Maybe this Scholar set up would have benefitted more from Warped, but I didn't feel like testing it.

The only time I felt that the higher damage per cast was worth it was during the Bastion's boss battle so I could do a hit and run strategy. Most of the time, I can refresh the DOT comfortably.
