I had the pleasure of riding the brand new Van Nicholas Nootau during a 3 week bikepacking trip in Northern Finland. I toured Lapland from August 17th until September 4th on this jewel of a machine.
The wide tires, the rohloff drive train, the titanium feel and the customization opportunities really deliver out in the field. The handlebar design really performed well.

Prior to this, I did several long range bikepacking tours such as the Silk Road and the Great Divide on my steel bike. This bike would have been absolutely legendary for those courses! I am taking this Nootau to ride tour Aotearoa later this year.
