Is the online coaching space saturated? Yes.

But is it TOO saturated to make money anymore, let alone get enough clients to make good money? ABSOLUTELY not.

However- it WILL require knowing how to stand out online amongst the noise and actually be NOTICED instead of blending in… here’s a few ways you can do that:

1️⃣ NICHE DOWN

I’ll scream this one until I’m blue in the face, y’all.

If you aren’t SPECIALIZED in something - you’re blending into the landscape of a billion other coaches who are also helping you “FiNd bALaNcE iN yOuR fItNesS jOuRneY” (no, this is not a niche 😅).

For example: The hairstylist space is ALSO saturated, right? There are a MILLION hair stylists.

But 7 years ago, I chose MY hair stylist because he was specializing in blondes + hair extensions - the two things that I personally care about when it comes to my hair 😉

So when I found him - he was immediately THE stylist for me, no contest. No other stylist mattered once I found him, because he was offering EXACTLY what I needed.

This is what niching down does for YOU, too.

2️⃣ SHOW YOUR LIFE + YOUR PERSONALITY

Maybe it’s because people are nervous and feel vulnerable online, but MAN it feels like the second a new coach starts posting herself online, she wipes out all traces of personality and quirks and just wants to be the most likable, user-friendly, person with NO signs of life 😬

I know social media experts (even myself) will emphasize the importance of being professional, an authority, an expert, & good at “delivering value” online if you want to gain clients…

…but clients are often first attracted to the PERSON behind a “coach”, before they ever really start considering hiring you for your services.

If you’re not letting who you are really shine (weird quirks and all), you’re probably just… forgettable to people.

Because what we love and remember most about the people we see online, are the things about them we find funny, interesting, or relatable.

Don’t forget to share that part of you online, too! 3️⃣ Get SOCIAL

When it comes to social media… don’t expect everyone to just come to you.

MOST people online will just quietly and privately “lurk” UNLESS you give them a good reason not to - either with highly engaging content, or by you making the first move to actually talk to them.

So, connect with your audience. Say hi first. Follow them back. Engage on their socials. Be someone they feel comfortable with and familiar with because you’ve interacted with them FIRST.

If YOU are willing to break the ice with them first, they’re so much more likely to consistently engage with you and feel comfortable talking to you!
