Our lives are saturated with media, everywhere we go advertising, notifications and digital screens follow us.

The media industry defines our culture and how we live. Therefore, training people with the appropriate skills and strong values to work in the media industry is critically important and requires Centres of excellence like Cardiff University to research and understand the modern media industry.

Our public debate, our politics and our democracy rests upon high standards of journalism and media practice.
